Use the RTB Disputes report to find disputes across tenants and review their overall status alongside the statuses of their individual stages.
Open the report
- Open Reports → Management.
- Select RTB Disputes in the Tenant section.
- Choose your filters and select Apply.
You need access to both management reports and tenant RTB records. Contact your administrator if the report is unavailable.
Filter the results
- Identifier / RTB Case / Tenant / Account / Address: search for a dispute or related tenant/property information. You can enter part of an Affinity dispute identifier, such as RTB/D/2026.
- Dispute Status: select Open, Closed or All statuses.
- Category: select Rent, Housing or All categories.
- Stage Type: select a type such as Mediation or Adjudication, or All stage types.
- Stage Status: select a stage status, or All stage statuses.
- Dispute Date From / Dispute Date To: filter by the dispute’s Date logged, not a stage date or meeting date. Dates are optional. Enter them using the date picker or in DD-MMM-YYYY format, for example 17-Sep-2026.
Select Apply after changing filters. Use Reset to clear them. You can also return an individual dropdown to its All option without resetting the other filters.
How stage filters work
The report finds disputes containing a stage that matches your selections. When both Stage Type and Stage Status are selected, the same stage must match both.
For example, Mediation and Completed finds disputes with a completed mediation stage. It does not match a dispute with pending mediation and a different completed stage.
Results show all stages for each matching dispute, not only the stage that matched the filters. The overall Dispute Status filter applies separately from Stage Status.
Read the results
Each result shows the dispute Identifier, Tenant, Property, Case Owner, Category, Dispute Status and dates, and its Stages.
- Select the Identifier to open the dispute.
- Select the Tenant name to open the tenant.
- Select the Property address to open the property.
- Select a stage to view its details.
If no disputes match, adjust the filters and select Apply again.
Export CSV
When results are available, select Export CSV at the top of the report. The export includes all disputes matching the applied filters, not only the current page.
Apply any filter changes before exporting. The export also includes details such as the summary, dispute outcome and stage outcomes that are not all shown in the on-screen table. Review the file before sharing it and follow your organisation’s procedures for handling tenant information.
