Housing Group Summary Report

The Housing Group Summary Report provides a financial summary for each housing group over a specified date range. In addition to summarising charges, income and arrears by housing group, the report includes headline portfolio statistics to assist with monitoring overall performance.

Depending on the amount of data being processed, generation of this report may take several minutes. Once complete, the report will be available in CSV format from Reports → Management → Stored Reports.

Portfolio Summary

The following summary information is displayed at the top of the report.

Number of Managed Units

The total number of active properties or units managed within the Affinity account.

Number of Voids During Report Period

The total number of tenancy voids that occurred across all managed properties during the reporting period.

Charges Applied (Year to Date)

The total value of recurring tenancy charges, such as rent and service charges, applied across all tenancies from the start of the current financial year to the report end date.

Credits Applied (Year to Date)

The total value of rental credits and debits applied across all tenant accounts from the start of the current financial year to the report end date.

Income (Year to Date)

The total value of income received in relation to tenancy charges from the start of the current financial year to the report end date. Payments received towards tenant fees and transactions relating to security deposits are excluded.

Key Report Columns

Charges Applied

The total value of recurring tenancy charges, such as rent and service charges, applied to all active tenancies within the housing group during the reporting period.

Credits Applied

The total value of rental credits and debits applied to tenant accounts within the housing group during the reporting period.

Income Received

The total value of income received in relation to tenancy charges for the housing group during the reporting period. Payments received towards tenant fees and transactions relating to security deposits are excluded.

Prepayments Held

The total value of tenant account balances that are in credit at the report end date.

Period Arrears

The total outstanding arrears that arose during the reporting period. This represents the shortfall where tenancy charges exceeded the income received (plus any tenancy credits applied) during the reporting period.

Period Arrears %

The Period Arrears value expressed as a percentage of the total tenancy charges applied during the reporting period.

Arrears

The total outstanding tenant arrears at the report end date.

The Arrears value expressed as a percentage of the total tenancy charges applied during the reporting period.
