Stock Condition Costs

The Stock Condition Costs report forecasts the future expenditure required to maintain your housing stock. It combines Property Components and Compliance Checks to estimate planned maintenance and compliance costs over the forecast period.

Note: The Stock Condition Costs report is available only when the optional Asset Management module has been enabled for your Affinity account.

The report can be generated for either a selected Housing Group or the entire housing stock.

The on-screen report presents a high-level summary of projected costs grouped into five-year bands, making it easy to identify periods of significant future expenditure. Separate totals are provided for:

• Planned Maintenance
• Compliance Maintenance
• Total Stock Condition Costs

The report also displays the average annual Planned Maintenance and Compliance Maintenance expenditure across the forecast period.

Selecting Export generates a CSV file containing a detailed year-by-year breakdown of projected expenditure. This includes the individual Property Component or Compliance Check responsible for each projected cost, providing a more detailed analysis for budgeting and long-term financial planning.

Note: The accuracy of this report depends on the Property Components, Compliance Checks and Year Built being maintained for the properties included in the report.
