The Inspections tab records inspections carried out at an individual property, including the inspection date, inspector, property condition, supporting documents and photographs.
To access a property’s inspection records, open the property and select Inspections → Inspection Records.
Viewing Property Inspections
Inspection records are displayed with the most recent inspection first. The list shows:
- Inspection Type.
- Inspected By.
- Date.
- Property Condition.
- Comments.
Click the Inspection Type or View icon to open the complete record. A paperclip beside the Inspection Type indicates that an inspection report is attached.
Adding a Property Inspection
Click Add Inspection and complete the following information:

| Inspection Type | Select the appropriate Property Inspection Type. |
| Date | Enter the date on which the inspection was completed. |
| Inspected By | Enter the name of the person or organisation that carried out the inspection. |
| Property Condition | Select the condition of the property at the time of inspection. |
| Improvement Notice issued? | Available for Local Authority inspections. Select this if an Improvement Notice was issued. |
| Inspection Report | Upload a copy of the inspection report, if available. |
| Comments | Record any relevant findings or notes. |
Click Add Inspection to save the record.
Additional Details and Photos
After creating an inspection, you can:
- Select an Inspection Template and complete its additional details.
- Upload inspection photographs.
- Assign a room or area and caption to each photograph.
- View the attached inspection report.
Editing or Printing an Inspection
Open the inspection and select Options.
From here, you can:
- Select Print to produce a printable inspection report.
- Select Edit to update the inspection details, manage the attached report or complete additional template details.
- Select Delete to remove the inspection.
The printable report includes the inspection details, comments, photographs and any completed template details.
Deleting a Property Inspection
An inspection cannot be deleted while it has an attached inspection report or photographs.
Delete the report and photographs first, then select Options → Delete and confirm the deletion.
