To send a sms/text message to a tenant you must first ensure that you have recorded their mobile number within the tenant details tab (note: this field can not have any non-numeric characters)and then tick the SMS Consent to indicate that you have received consent from the individual to communicate with them via text message.
To send a message to a tenant:
- Go to Tenant > List Tenant > and select the tenant you want to send the message to
- Go to the Correspondence Tab and click on Send Text Message - from here you can type in what you want your message to say, your housing association name and phone number will be automatically attached by default. You will also be able to tick if the text message is in relation to Arrears Correspondence.
