Each property in Affinity has a dedicated record bringing together its key information, tenancies, compliance records, maintenance activity and documents.
To open a property, go to Properties → List Properties and select the required property.
Property navigation
The main tabs divide the property record into the following areas.
Property
The Property tab contains the general information and activity relating to the property. Its secondary navigation includes:
- Summary — an overview of the property and its current tenancy
- Notes — notes recorded against the property
- Care Alerts — important information that users should see when working with the property
- Voids — current and historical void periods
- Property Details — the property’s address, classification and other detailed information
- Keys — keys recorded against the property, where the Key Register is available
- Photos — photographs attached to the property
- Map — the property’s location on Google Maps
Tenancies
Displays the property’s current and previous tenancies.
Asset Mgmt
Provides access to property components, compliance cost forecasts and stock-condition information.
This tab is available when the Asset Management module is enabled and the user has the relevant permission.
Funding
Displays the P&A funding schedules and charges associated with the property.
Inspections
Contains inspection records and inspection schedules for the property.
Compliance
Brings together:
- Compliance Checks
- Energy Certificates
- Insurance Policies
Maintenance
Contains the property’s work orders and reported issues.
Documents
Stores documents associated with the property.
Actions and options
Actions relevant to the page being viewed appear to the right of the secondary navigation.
For example, the Summary page provides options for cloning, archiving or deleting the property. Other pages provide actions such as adding a note, recording a void, uploading a photo or creating a work order.
The tabs and actions available to you may vary depending on your permissions and the modules enabled for your organisation.
