New Features, Improvements, and Updates
- Introduction of signatures on user profile which are used in tenant letter comms.
- Tenant Requests - When adding a tenant request default the owner to the user logging the issue.
- Suppliers where the 'Active?' checkbox has been unticked are now excluded from the Tax Clearance Certificate, Insurance Certificate and Membership alert reports.
- Notification removed from Correspondence tab of Tenant view notifying users that Requests and Complaints have been moved to Case Management tab.
- The word 'attached' has been replaced in a number of email templates to improve deliverability.
- Enhancements applied to arrears agreement functionality:
- Arrears agreements can now be added retrospectively, i.e. the agreements can start in the past with arrears charges to date immediately applied.
Ability to specify an agreement end date added. When set no further arrears charges will be applied. This mechanism should be used to indicate that repayment agreement has been satisfied. This will also provide the ability to report on previous arrears agreements.
Pro-rating of arrears charges no longer applied.
- Support added for 2022 version of the Carlow County Council rent policy
- Support added for 2025 version of the Monaghan County Council rent policy
- Work Orders -> List Work Orders. Supplier name added to export option.
- Now possible to limit access to an Affinity account to specified IP addresses.
- Drop down lists of user account names now listed alphabetically.
- Password policy for minimum length extended.
- Affinity accounts can now be configured so that work order emails appear to originate from one of three options: Staff Member (i.e. the owner of the work order), Current User (i.e. the actual person issuing the quote, assigning the work order, or emailing the work order) or a central, specified Maintenance email address.
- All rent policies are now linked to an internally hosted PDF version of the policy as provided by the local authority. In some cases, the latest version is not published on a local authorities website, is missing altogether or the link has changed from when it was added to Affinity which previous broke the link.
- PO Number added to the exportable version of list of Work Orders displayed via the Work Orders -> List Work Orders menu option.
- PO Number added to the exportable version of the Overdue Work Orders Report.
Bug Fixes
- Void losses figure calculated incorrectly in Performance Report.
- Kilkenny County Council rent policy - State pension income from OAPs who are subsidiary earners treated incorrectly.
- Fixed a bug where housing groups/properties with the same scheme type "Owned - Out of Mortgage" where being exported with a blank scheme type.
- Links to both Cork City and Cork County Councils rent policies were broken
- The 'Add Arrears Agreement' within the the tenancy view was enabled even when none of the elements of the tenant's balance were in arrears.
