New Features, Improvements, and Updates
- Additional filter added to Rent Assessments Report allowing the user to specify whether the supplied date range should apply to the assessment date or effective date.
- Button added alongside Managing Agent and Management Company names, in both Housing Group and Property views that, when clicked, displays a pop-up with contact details.
- The following additional columns added to the Work Orders export: Tenant Name, Tenant Phone and Tenant Mobile.
- Added support for 1 line of custom text above the tenant name and address on letters, for example, "Private and Confidential"
- Work Orders - Added a work orders tab on the supplier view to display work orders assigned to that supplier. These can be filtered by various criteria, including overdue work orders.
- Work Orders - A new column and filter on the main list work orders view has been added to show and filter on work orders which are overdue based on the open state, the estimated completion date set, and the estimated completion date has passed.
- Work Orders – the Priority field is now available across all work order categories, allowing response times such as Emergency, Urgent, and Routine to be recorded regardless of the selected category.
- Work Orders - two additional fields added:
- Is Rechargeable? Indicated that the cost associated with the work order is to be recharged to the tenant of the associated property.
- Is Recoupable? Indicates that the cost associated with the work is can be recouped from the associated building contractor.
- When importing data files from An Post, Affinity will now detect whether the contents of the file relate to Household Budget or Billpay transactions and add an appropriate description to each constituent transaction.
- Updated tenant balance report to include a new column - "Tenancy End Date".
- Support added for the 2026 version of the South Dublin County Council differential rent policy.
- Column added to Energry Certificate Details export to indicate in the record has a certificate attached.
- New tab added to Housing Group view to detail all Work Orders raised against that housing group including those raised against associated blocks and properties.
- System emails will now be sent from no-reply@tiltaffinity.com instead of your organisation’s email domain. This change improves email deliverability and reduces authentication issues caused by DMARC, SPF, and DKIM policies, helping ensure important system emails reach recipients successfully.
- New tab added to Supplier view to detail all Work Orders assigned to that supplier, including option to list those in an open state and past their estimated completion date.
- New filters, along with Print and Export options added to the Work Orders tab of the Property view.
- All property data stored in Affinity has been migrated to AWS S3 storage. This is stored in the AWS S3 eu-west-1 region (Dublin). This builds in extra redundancy and security for uploaded files. We'll also be migrating other uploaded data, such as tenants, suppliers, work orders etc to AWS S3 over the coming months.
Bug Fixes
- Issue resolved, preventing some tenant circulars from generating completely.
- Add Work Order button remained disabled if one or more mandatory fields were not completed prior to submission.
- Meath County Council - 'Add Rent Assessment' button was disabled, preventing storing of assessment record.
- Error thrown when converting a Tenant Issue to a Property Issue.
- Error thrown when deleting a tenancy charge schedule.
- Fixed a gap where the account owner was unable to enable/disable 2FA on their user account.
- Not possible to select tenants for SMS Broadcasts when multi-branch option enabled.
- Error reported when trying to set Attic Conversion Type to 'Reverted to Storage' within Details tab of the Property view.
- Fixed an issue where, in certain cases, due to custom roles, users were unable to access their "My Profile" area.
