Notes and documents can relate to the Overall dispute or to a specific stage. Choose Overall dispute for information that is not specific to one stage.
Add a note
- Open the dispute and select Add Note in Dispute Notes.
- Choose Associate With: Overall dispute or the relevant stage.
- Enter the note text.
- Select Add Note to save it.
Notes associated with a stage also appear when viewing that stage. The stage Description is a separate field from these notes.
Upload documents
- Select Upload Document in Dispute Documents to expand the upload panel.
- Select a Document Type. This defaults to General.
- Choose Associate With. This defaults to Overall dispute. For a stage-specific file, select the stage; its date and status help distinguish stages of the same type.
- Select Choose Files, or drag files into the upload panel.
- Wait for the uploads to finish and check the documents list.
Document types include Application, Evidence, Position Statement, Correspondence, Report, Determination Order, Enforcement and General.
The selected type and association apply to the files in that upload batch. Upload files separately when they need different types or associations.
View or download documents
Use the preview action where available to view a supported document in the browser. Use the download action to save the original file. Preview is not available for every file type.
Delete notes or documents
Users with delete permission can use the delete action and confirm the request. Deleting a document removes the uploaded file. Follow your organisation’s retention procedures before deleting any information.
Check the association before saving
Dispute notes do not currently have an edit or reassignment action. Dispute documents do not have a reassignment action. Check the selected association before saving or uploading, and contact your administrator if something was associated incorrectly.
