Sending work orders to suppliers

Within Díon when you specify an email address for a supplier when you assign a work order to them it will automatically send them an email of the work order. You can also set the option for a text message to be sent automatically to an supplier informing them of a work order.

To do this you first must ensure that the supplier has a mobile number and that you have ticked both the SMS consent and Text Tickets within the supplier details tab. When you now assign them a work order they will automatically get a text message informing them of the work order.

At any stage you can also send a text message to a supplier of a work order from the List of Work Orders, for suppliers that you have provided a mobile number for and also indicated that you have consent to send them a text message a mobile icon will now appear alongside the edit and delete icons in the list of Work Orders. Simply click on the mobile icon to send a text message.
