Security Deposit receipts are recorded using the same process as any other tenant receipt.
- From the main menu select Bank.
- Select Tenant Transactions.
- Select the appropriate tenant account.
- Open the Receipts (Incoming) tab.
- Enter the receipt details.
- From the Transaction Type drop-down, select Security Deposit.
- Click Submit Receipt.
Unlike Tenant Payment and Benefit Payment receipts, Security Deposit receipts are not allocated across the tenant's recurring tenancy charges. Instead, the receipt is credited solely against the tenant's security deposit balance.
