Reviewing Property Stock Condition Costs

The Stock Condition Costs report provides a long-term forecast of the expenditure required to maintain an individual property. It combines the property's Property Components and Compliance Checks.

Open Stock Condition Costs

1. Open Properties → List Properties and select the required property.
2. Select the Asset Mgmt tab.
3. Select Stock Condition Costs from the secondary navigation.

Before you begin

For a meaningful forecast, ensure that the property's Year Built is recorded under Property → Property Details, the required Property Components are configured and the appropriate Compliance Checks are selected.

Understand the summary

The summary groups projected expenditure into future time bands and shows:

• Total Planned Maintenance from Property Components;
• Total Cyclical / Compliance Maintenance from Compliance Checks;
• Total Stock Condition Costs; and
• the annual average over the forecast period.

These figures are forecasts based on the costs, replacement cycles and scheduled dates held against the property. Incomplete or outdated component information will affect the result.

Review the forecast

Use the detailed forecast to see when expenditure is expected and which components or compliance items contribute to it. The property forecast can be compared with the wider 40-year Asset Management reports available elsewhere in Affinity.

Export the report

Select the export option to download the property's Stock Condition Costs for further review or analysis.
